Our credit union was founded during the Great Depression on July 23, 1936 when nineteen men employed by the Tennessee Coal, Iron and Railway Company pooled their money in a cigar box. Their mission: provide excellent financial services to the under-represented members of our community. Our great service and quality financial options quickly connected with the people of Alabama.
