The journey of our why began in 1936, when a small group of employees of the Battelle Memorial Institute came together to form a credit union. Their fundamental belief was to always put the members first, by ensuring their low rates and benefits were reserved for members, not shareholders.

Over 80 years later, our commitment to our why has allowed BMI FCU to grow. BMI FCU is now available to anyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in Franklin, Licking, Fairfield, Pickaway, Madison, Union, Delaware, or Morrow County.
