West Michigan Community Bank

About

West Michigan Community Bank got its start in 1976 when a group of leading Hudsonville citizens joined forces to establish a bank focused on the needs of local businesses and individuals. Local decision-making was a key driver behind the launch, and it received strong support from residents and business owners alike.

Initially known as the Bank of Hudsonville, we were founded on the same principles that make West Michigan an excellent place to live, work and raise a family – a strong work ethic, prudent fiscal stewardship and the willingness to always lend a helping hand. Our team lives and works in the community. Our children attend the schools. Bank employees attend church, coach little league and volunteer at numerous non-profit organizations.

Much has changed since 1976 including our name, ownership and management. We have added new service lines, enhanced our technology, added employees and opened new branches to make banking easier and more convenient. But our core values and principles have not changed and we are still focused on the West Michigan community. Our employees are knowledgeable and responsive. We listen and we care about the success of our customers.
